SageCon Partners work together to build resilience in Oregon’s sagebrush rangelands.
SageCon is working in Oregon to address challenges at a landscape scale, where no single agency or organization can make a big enough difference alone.
We are focused on creating resilience in the sage steppe community to support the ecology, economics, and society of the desert that covers two-thirds of our state. As we experience the stressors of wildfire, invasive annual grass invasions, and drought we find that the most durable solutions are found by working together. Through this Partnership, we strive to create a supportive, enabling environment for successful and strategic on-the-ground actions through:
Communication forums
Technical support and tools
Funding and policy
Shared strategic priorities & monitoring progress
