Locally-Led Collaboration
SageCon is a cross-sector partnership that depends on a foundation of locally-led collaboration to achieve coordinated and supported implementation of strategic conservation actions on-the-ground. Two efforts that we support are the Local Implementation Teams the Oregon Sage-grouse CCAA program.
Local Implementation Teams (LITs) work in 5 sub-geographies of Oregon sagebrush ecosystem to coordinate actions among local stakeholders to prioritize strategic conservation actions.
The private lands CCAA program develops, implements, and monitors conservation plans on working lands across sage-grouse habitat in Oregon.
